I was also asked to appear for FP in my attorney's location. Instead, I went to the nearest ASC with my spouse whose FP was in the correct location ahead of my date. I successfully got my FP done. There is a thread "FP in wrong city" where other people had similar issues.
From my experience, talking to lawyer, USCIS doesn't care as long as you get it done before the due date. Try the local ASC... its always the guard in front who may create an issue. Once you are in, fill in some forms, the ASC doesn't care where you were scheduled.
Imp: Try the local ASC before your scheduled date so that you have time for plan B.

your degree certificate changed if you completed your degree in 2000 and gave some supplimentry exam in 2002, so you did not get Degree Certificate in 2000. You got it in 2002. That makes it 2002 Degree Holder and not 2000. That mean whatever supp subject you are saying was mandatory for Degree Completion.

There is a question on part 7 of AP efiling. I guess, same question is also there in paper form as well. Could somebody please explain as to what to do about this. Here is the question:-

I see the problem with the 1+3 since that would be combining. The 2+3 usually gets accepted. However you just never know how things will go with USCIS.

+3 sounds to be your diploma right? now what was eligiblity for the diploma 10th or 12th? I am assuming it was 10? since it was 3 years course.
My friend I hate to be sounding pessimistic but your education might add upto 16 years but it is not progressive 16 years as required for a bachelors program, most of it is redundant. your +2 (12th grade) and diploma are overlapping. Your +1 is completely tangential to your course work. It is same as some one doing 1st year courses for 3 different strems example 1st year Science , 1st year arts and 1st year commerce and then claiming he has equivalent of 3 years bachelors course work completed and so he be awarded a bachelors degree.
Please dont feel bad. I do not want to give you any false hopes. Please consult some proffessional evaluators to check if there is a way they can make your education sound progressive but looking at USCIS response you pasted they have evaluated your diploma and cannot accept it as equivalent to degree program
I dont know who will pay for the MTR + refiling in case your employer is going to shoulder these expenses then there is really no harm in trying but if it is you who has to pay for appeals then my friend it will be better if you consult education evaluators and some other lawyers like Murthy, Khanna to get a second opinion before you embark on this long and costly journey.

We have applied for our AP renewal on 05/09 at NSC. I have noticed online status change to our I131s today with the following message. Is this a RFE? if so, what could be the RFE for AP? Your help and input appreciated.

1. If you said you came here for your Master's and then found and job and applied for GC and been stuck there and now realized that this process stinks and decided to go back its fine by me, then you have no place here.
2. If you said you came here after your education on work visa and then applied for GC and stuck here and now realized that this process stinks and decided to go back its fine by me, then you have no place here

4. If you think working for some company as a FT employee makes you qualified,oh btw i dont care if its a Fortune 10 company, been there done that, then you have no reason to be here. After all you think you are priveleged and superior to other folks in here.
5. Whats this superiority of being a FT employee over Contractor? I have been in this country now for over 10 yrs and worked as FT employee and Contractor. I dont see anything special in being a FT employee over a contractor. Just because you became a FT employee does not mean the company thinks you are the most perfect person to be their employee, it means you fit in their budget and they want to milk you services, so you become a 'one client wonder'. Contractor on the other hand gets paid more, gets to work on different projects . There is some uncertaininty due to job changes etc but if we are tracking it right its works well, in my last 4 yrs of contracting never been out of job.
6. What I have seen by the way you bash others in this thread shows that you somehow think you are superior to others(which is okay if you keep it to yourself). Pardon me for saying this, you are stepping over the line. Few days ago there was a thread where one guy got banned due to some stupid comments like you about fake degrees, fake resumes and that he was somehow more deserving of the GC than the others.
when you are in a public forum conduct yourself with dignity and try to help others and get help and not try to push your convoluted ideas and come across as a jerk. Staying in this country means many things to different people and does not constitute to not loving our home countries in anyway

I know it is not the right place to put it. I could not find any appropriate thread. My wife is planning to go for H4 visa stamping in October. My question is can she go alone and what kind of documents she need. Our I-485 applications have reached USCIS on July 2nd. Any reply will be greatly appreciated.
Yes she can go alone. She will need her H4 approval notice as well as your H1B approval notice. Additionally since you have applied for AOS take them for good measure. My husband recently went for H4 stamping in London and they did not actually require the adjustment receipt notice but did take anyway with his documents.

Urgency of getting a receipt is that once you get the receipt, it means that USCIS has 'accepted' your application and it will not be rejected for lack of initial evidence.
